Account & data deletion
Passcard Store has no online account. The app does not require sign-up and does not store any of your data on our servers — everything lives only on your device. There is therefore nothing for us to delete on our side.
Because all of your data is stored locally, you are always in full control of deleting it. You can remove your data completely in two ways:
Option 1 — Delete all data inside the app
- Open Passcard Store and unlock it with your PIN or biometrics.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Under Danger Zone, tap Delete All Data.
- Confirm and re-enter your PIN. This permanently erases all passwords, cards, settings, and encryption keys from your device.
Option 2 — Uninstall the app
- Long-press the Passcard Store icon (or open Android Settings → Apps → Passcard Store).
- Tap Uninstall.
- Uninstalling removes the app and all of its locally stored data from your device.
Deleting your data is permanent and cannot be undone. There is no cloud copy and no way for us to recover it. If you want to keep your data, create an encrypted backup first (Settings → Create Backup).
What data is deleted
| Data | Where it lives | Deleted when |
|---|---|---|
| Passwords & cards | Encrypted local database on your device | Immediately, on "Delete All Data" or uninstall |
| App settings & PIN hash | Device secure storage (Keystore) | Immediately, on "Delete All Data" or uninstall |
| Encryption keys | Device secure storage (Keystore) | Immediately, on "Delete All Data" or uninstall |
| Data on our servers | None — we never receive any of your data | Not applicable |
