These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Passcard Store mobile application ("the app"). By downloading, installing, or using the app you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Acceptance of terms
The app is provided free of charge for your personal use. Your use of the app confirms that you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. License & open source
Passcard Store is open-source software released under the MIT License. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the app. The source code is available at github.com/mohdrafey1/passcard-store and may be used, modified, and distributed subject to the MIT License terms.
3. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not:
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose or to store data you are not entitled to hold;
- Attempt to use the app to harm others or violate anyone's privacy or rights;
- Reverse engineer the app for malicious purposes (normal inspection of the open-source code is, of course, permitted under the license).
4. Your responsibility for your data
Important: The app stores all data only on your device and has no cloud backup or account recovery. You are solely responsible for remembering your PIN and for keeping your own backups. If you forget your PIN, lose, damage, or reset your device, or delete the app, your data cannot be recovered by us or anyone else.
We strongly recommend creating and safely storing an encrypted backup regularly using the app's Backup feature.
5. No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, security, or non-infringement. While the app is built with strong encryption and security practices, we do not guarantee that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will meet every security requirement of your particular use case.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the app.
7. Updates & availability
We may release updates that add, change, or remove features, and may discontinue the app at any time. We are not obligated to provide support, maintenance, or future versions.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
